   This year the soccer world cup started in  14th of june and ended on july the 15th. 32 teams qualified to world cup 2018, Panama and Soudi Arabia qualified for the first time in history, we thought Germany, Uruguay, Portugal, Brazil and Spain could win the world cup but France did, for the second time since 1998.
France had a very good defense and attack because they have  Umtiti, Griezmann, Pavard, and  Mbappè and they are very good players. We think the hardest match in this world cup was Japan vs Belgium. At the 48th minute Japan got a goal from Genki Haraguchi, and then Japan got another goal from Takashi Inui which made it 2-0 to Japan. At the 69th minute Jan Vertonghen scored a header goal for Belgium. Then Marouane Fellaini also scored a great header for Belgium, Then at extra time at 90+4 minutes Nacer Chadli scored a great goal for Belgium to make it 3-2 for Belgium. WHAT A MATCH⚽!

W think Luka Modric was the best player because he won the golden ball for the world cup which i an award for being the best player of the 2018 world cup. He was very goo but he did not score many goals although we think he will win the ballon ´dor because he made his team stronger and better.

shake spare lodge

       I cant wait! Next term we are going to have a extreme time because we are traveling all the way to shake-spare lodge and we are staying there for a night and will return to school on Friday just in time for school to end. If the weather is friendly (which i really hope is) we will do awesome activities like kayaking in the near lake,climbing and many more. We will be sleeping in wooden cabins with some other friends in year 5. I think it will be so enjoyable and cant wait!

Term 2's Crazy Adventure!
The last 10 weeks have been a very challenging and exciting term with passion projects were weve been working extra hard to get our script done for our movie that were creating inside out 2.One of the biggest challenges this term is definitely adding detailed when adding evidence for school talk i have also found writing harder than usual this term because of the speeches i had worked  very hard but sadly did not get through to the Hillary team finals but that's okay because i do not like speaking to lots of people who stare at you like the stray cats when they see you with food.Ashton,Max,Cormac and I have been working very hard on our inquiry making a eye movie on our experement with oil spills which went very well because in the eye movie we voiced over the experement saying what we did and how we got expiered be Arden Warners experement and wanted to try it ourselfs.Overall i cant wait to have a relaxing holiday but also cant wait for another exiting and challinging term next year.

iv been waking up very early in the morning for the soccer world cup i been waiting four years when Germany one now watching  i wonder who will win this year because Germany,Argentina and Portugal are all out this year in my a pinion i think ether France,Belgium or Brazil will when.This year i'm going for England even though they may not win they have my favorite players Delli Alli and Harry Kane who both play for my favorite club Tottenham Hottspures.

                         Last week on Thursday we had the year 5 school soccer tournament.

                       I played defense and we versed lots of schools around our eerier like ST Thomas,St                              Heliers,Glendawy and many more we won three of our games and lost two so we 

                     came fith out of 9 schools.I had so much fun and got really muddy.

Speech writing

This term we are doing speeches.I am writing an informational report on this years soccer world cup.I don't like performing in front of others i get nervous.😟Everybody's staring at you👀although I cant wait to get it over and done with.

            

Hiking in waiheke!

I slipped on my good walking shoes ready to start walking in the bushes of waiheke.All you could hear were the wind whistling calmly and a crunching noise in the leaves as i walk along the forest.As we got further and further i felt like i couldn't feel my feet any more,I could hardly walk any longer.Then i could detect this little crecher climbing up a tree trunk,like a lightning bolt.I wondered what it was then I realised.It was a green,speedy Lizard.
